The St. Louis Blues will play the Buffalo Sabres tonight in St. Louis starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio (AM 1340 and 95.7 FM). Before the game, the Blues organization will honor 2023 Hall of Fame inductees former Coach Ken Hitchcock and forward Pierre Turgeon.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers lost to Hillsboro Monday night, 57-30, then fell to Fredericktown Tuesday night to fall to 0-4 on the year. The Lady Tigers will play in the 5th place game this Saturday at 12:00 noon at Fredericktown.
Colton Parayko scored the lone St. Louis goal as they fell to the Minnesota Wild Tuesday night, 3-1. The Blues will be at Buffalo Thursday night to face the Sabres starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.
Sean East II scored 21 while Noah Carter netted 13, Tamar Bates added 12 more and Caleb Grill scored 10 points as the Missouri Tigers beat Pittsburgh, 71-64. Missouri is now 6-2 on the year. The Tigers will face Wichita State Sunday at 1:30 on KSMO Radio.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tiger Teams will be playing Fredericktown tonight with the varsity game at 7:00 followed by the JV game at 8:30 in the Fredericktown Tournament.
The St. Louis Blues will be at Minnesota this evening to face the Wild starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio.
The Missouri Basketball Tigers will be at Pittsburgh tonight. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO Radio due to St. Louis Blues Hockey. Missouri enters the game with a 6-2 record.
The St. Louis Cardinals on Monday reached an agreement on a contract with right-handed pitcher Sonny Gray. The Cardinals confirmed the deal, which is reportedly for three years and $75 million with a club option for the 2027 year. Gray was the American League Cy Young Award runner-up last year finished 8-8 with a 2.79 ERA in 184 innings for the Minnesota Twins in 2023, striking out 183 batters and allowing just 156 hits in 184 innings.
The St. Louis Cardinals announced they have signed free-agent right-handed pitcher Lance Lynn as well as free-agent right-handed pitcher Kyle Gibson, each to a one-year contract that includes a club option for 2025.

he Salem Lady Basketball Tiger Teams will be participating in the Fredericktown Tournament that begins today. The Salem Lady JV Tigers will face Central JV at 4:00 while the Varsity Lady Tigers face Hillsboro at 5:30. The JV Lady Tigers are 0-1 while the Varsity Lady Tigers are 0-2 going into the games.
Athletic Director Clay Moody reports the Salem Middle School’s “A” team will be in a tournament in Linn tonight, Wednesday and Friday; while the Middle School “B” team will be in the St. James Tournament this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The Missouri Basketball Tigers beat South Carolina State Wednesday night, 82-59 and followed that up with a 79-70 win over Loyola of Maryland Saturday morning. The Tigers are 6-2 on the year and they will be at Pittsburgh Tuesday night. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO Radio due to St. Louis Blues Hockey
The Missouri Football Tigers crushed Arkansas Friday, 48-14 to finish their regular season with a 10-2 record. Cody Schrader had 27 carries for 217 yards and a touchdown. The Tigers will be waiting for their bowl game designation.
The St. Louis Blues beat Arizona Wednesday night, 6-5, before losing to Nashville Friday, 8-3. On Sunday, the Blues had two goals from Jake Neighbours to beat Chicago 4-2. They will be in Minnesota Tuesday at 6:30 on KSMO.
The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday, 31-17. They are 8-3 on the year and play play Green Bay Sunday night.

Both Licking Wildcat teams beat Salem Tuesday to keep the Cat Classic trophy as the boys beat Salem, 58-50 outscoring them in overtime, 14 to 6. Austin James and Roston Stockard each scored 16 points for Licking while Landon Rictor had 12 for Salem. The Lady Tigers fell by the score of 73-26 as Allie Hock had 24 points and Hannah Medlock added another 22. The Lady Tigers drop to 0-2 on the year and they will play in the Fredericktown Varsity Tournament starting Monday, while the boys fall to 1-1 and they will be at Owensville on December 1st.
Nine Salem Football Tigers were recognized for SCA Conference Awards this past season. Named to the All-SCA 2nd team were Wyatt Martin on the offensive line and Everett Campbell as a linebacker. Making the All-SCA Honorable Mention Team were Owen Hamilton and Joseph Griffin on the defensive line, Tobey Gover on the offensive line, Carter Degon and Gavin Sapaugh as linebackers, and Jamal Metcalf as punter. Congratulations Tigers!

The Salem Boys and Girls Basketball Tigers will be in Licking today and tonight to face the Wildcats in the “Cat Classic.” The girls JV will start things out at 4:00 this afternoon followed by the JV Boys game. The varsity girls game will begin about 6:30 to be followed by the boys varsity contest around 7:45. KSMO Media will carry the varsity girls and boys games on KSMO Radio (AM 1340 and 95.7 FM) as well as video streaming the games. The games will be on ksmoradio.com, KSMO Stream Facebook Page and the KSMO YouTube Page. The Salem Lady Tigers are 0-1 on the year and the boys are 1-0.

Kaiden Gately scored eight points in the 2nd overtime and finished with 10 points to help the Salem Boys Basketball Tigers beat Dixon in double overtime, 81-69 in a foul filled game. Bryson May led Salem with 20 points followed by Landon Rictor with 13, Tre Richter with 12 and Trae Parsons with 10. The Tigers will face the Licking Wildcats Tuesday night in the Cat Classic in Licking.
The Salem JV Boys Basketball also beat Dixon Friday, 62-28 while the freshman lost in a half of a game, 18-15. The JV will play in Licking Tuesday night as well.
The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers lost to the Bourbon Lady Warhawks Saturday morning, 30-27 in the Vienna Shootout. The Lady Tigers will also be at Licking Tuesday for the Cat Classic. Harrison Mevis kicked a 30-yard field goal with five seconds left as the Missouri Tigers outlasted the Florida Gators Saturday night, 33-31 to go to 9-2 on the year. Mevis had four field goals in the game for the Tigers. Cody Schrader had 23 carries for 148 yards and a touchdown while Brady Cook was 20-34 for 331 yards and a touchdown. Missouri will finish their regular season this Friday afternoon against Arkansas at 3:00.
The Missouri Basketball Tigers lost to Jackson State Sunday, 73-72. Nick Honor had 17 points to lead Missouri and Caleb Grill added 15 more. Missouri is 3-2 on the year. Missouri will play South Carolina Wednesday at 5:30.
Th St. Louis Blues beat the Anaheim Ducks Sunday, 3-1 after losing to the LA Kings and San Jose Sharks on the west coast trip, 5-1 in each game. The Blues will be in Arizona Wednesday night starting at 7:30 on KSMO.
