Kaiden Gately scored eight points in the 2nd overtime and finished with 10 points to help the Salem Boys Basketball Tigers beat Dixon in double overtime, 81-69 in a foul filled game. Bryson May led Salem with 20 points followed by Landon Rictor with 13, Tre Richter with 12 and Trae Parsons with 10. The Tigers will face the Licking Wildcats Tuesday night in the Cat Classic in Licking.

The Salem JV Boys Basketball also beat Dixon Friday, 62-28 while the freshman lost in a half of a game, 18-15. The JV will play in Licking Tuesday night as well.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers lost to the Bourbon Lady Warhawks Saturday morning, 30-27 in the Vienna Shootout. The Lady Tigers will also be at Licking Tuesday for the Cat Classic. KSMO Media will be broadcasting the girls and boys varsity contests on AM 1340 and 95.7, and will video stream the games on ksmoradio.com, KSMO Stream Facebook page and the KSMO YouTube page. The varsity games should begin around 6:00 starting with the girls game with the boys game to follow.

Harrison Mevis kicked a 30-yard field goal with five seconds left as the Missouri Tigers outlasted the Florida Gators Saturday night, 33-31 to go to 9-2 on the year. Mevis had four field goals in the game for the Tigers. Cody Schrader had 23 carries for 148 yards and a touchdown while Brady Cook was 20-34 for 331 yards and a touchdown. Missouri will finish their regular season this Friday afternoon against Arkansas at 3:00.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers lost to Jackson State Sunday, 73-72. Nick Honor had 17 points to lead Missouri and Caleb Grill added 15 more. Missouri is 3-2 on the year. Missouri will play South Carolina Wednesday at 5:30.

Th St. Louis Blues beat the Anaheim Ducks Sunday, 3-1 after losing to the LA Kings and San Jose Sharks on the west coast trip, 5-1 in each game. The Blues will be in Arizona Wednesday night starting at 7:30 on KSMO.
