Savannah Manthey hit a three-run homer and finished with three hits and six RBI as the Salem Lady Softball Tigers beat Willow Springs Tuesday, 15-5. Andrea Bray also had three hits for the Lady Tigers. Salem is now 7-9 on the year and will play Owensville Thursday.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers beat the Thayer Lady Bobcats in three games Tuesday: 25-23, 25-8 and 25-17. The JV also won in two straight games over Thayer, 25-23 and 25-11. Salem is 5-7-1 on the year and 2-1 in the SCA Conference. They will play at Mountain View Thursday night against the Lady Eagles.

The St. Louis Cardinals clinched the 2nd Wild Card berth Tuesday when they beat Milwaukee, 6-2 for their 17th straight win. Dylan Carlson, Jose Rondon and Nolan Arenado homered, and Adam Wainwright won his 17th game of the year. The Cards and Brewers play tonight at 5:50 on KSMO.

Andrew Benintendi and Salvador Perez homered, and Nicky Lopez broke a 4-4 tie with an RBI triple in the 8th inning as Kansas City beat Cleveland, 6-4 Tuesday night. The Royals and Indians play again tonight.

St. Louis Blues will play Columbus tonight in Columbus. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO.
