The Salem JV Football Tigers beat Willow Springs, 12-2 Monday night at the SHS Football Field. They are 4-2 on the year and they will play Mountain Grove at Salem at 6:00.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Varsity Tigers lost to Houston in two straight games: 16-25 and 15-25. The JV lost in three sets: 17-25, 25-22 and 14-16. The Lady Varsity Tigers are now 1-14-2 on the season. The Lady Tigers will participate in the Licking Tournament this weekend.

It’s Game 5 of the National League Division Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves at Atlanta with the pre-game show starting at 3:07 on KSMO today. St. Louis will pitch Jack Flaherty against the Braves’ Mike Foltynewicz. The winner will face the winner of the Los Angeles Dodger and Washington Nationals game on Friday in the NLCS.
