The Salem Lady Volleyball Varsity lost to the Cabool Lady Bulldogs in two straight games at home Tuesday night to finish the regular season with a 9-19 record. The JV also lost to Cabool in two straight games by the scores of 18-25 and 15-25. Salem finished the year with a 1-6 record in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers have been seeded 6th in the Class 3, District 10 District Tournament that will begin on Monday, October 22nd at Union High School at 6:15. They will face the 3rd seeded Owensville Dutchgirls. Admission to the district match is $5.00 per person age 6 and above. If Salem wins on Monday, they would face St. Clair on Tuesday at 6:15.

The City of Salem Youth Basketball League registration will be held now through October 26th at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road between 8:00 in the morning and 4:30 in the afternoon. The league is available for boys and girls from the 1st through the 6th grade. The 1st and 2nd grade teams will be co-ed. The games will be held at the Salem High School in December every Saturday starting on December 1st. The cost is $25 per player. The St. Louis Blues will begin a three game road trip through Canada tonight when they travel to Montreal to face the Canadiens with the game starting at 6:00 and the pre-game show at 5:30 on KSMO Radio. The Blues enters the game with a 1-2-2 record tied with Minnesota at the bottom of the Western Conference Central Division with four points.
