Ryan O’Reilly scored his first career hat trick scoring three times en route to the St. Louis Blues 4-1 win over Carolina Tuesday night.
Chad Johnson stopped 38 of 39 shots in the win.

Mark Smith scored 19 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the 3-point line and Missouri triumphed over Central Arkansas, 68-55 in its season opener Tuesday night. The Tigers will host Iowa State Friday night at 6:00 with the pre-game starting at 5:30 on KSMO Radio.

St. Louis Cardinal catcher Yadier Molina added a ninth Gold Glove award to his collection on Sunday. This Gold Glove pushes Molina closer to catching royalty, as only Johnny Bench (10) and Ivan Rodriguez (13) have won more Gold Gloves at the catching position. Molina is now eligible for the Platinum Glove Award, which is given to the best defensive player in each league and was started back in 2011.

The 3rd Annual Honoring Our Heroes Marathon, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay and 5K for runners and walkers is coming up Saturday, November 18th. Runners and walkers will meet at the Lions Club Park in Rolla and be bussed to the Salem Commons to begin their 26.2 mile run back to Lions Club Park finish line. Half Marathoners will cover half the distance, while the 5K is held in and around Lions Club Park. Fans will have the opportunity to cheer their runners all along the route. During the 2nd annual event in 2017 there were over 230 participants from 25 different states and over $15,000.00 in proceeds were donated to local veteran’s organizations. All the proceeds from the event benefit the following local causes: MO Patriot Paws, Dent County Veterans Emergency Fund, VFW Post 6280, VFW Post 2025 and the Mid Missouri Chapter of the Association of the United States Army’s Warrior in Need Fund.
