The Salem Football Tigers will be at Blair Oaks Friday night at 7:00 in the 2nd round of District football play. Salem enters the game with a 7-3 record while Blair Oaks is 10-0. Admission to the game is $5.00 per person, six years of age and older. If you can’t make it to the game, you can hear it on KSMO Radio.

Jaden Schwartz scored in overtime and Jordan Binnington stopped 33 of 34 shots as the St. Louis Blues won their 5th straight game, four of those in overtime, as they beat Vancouver, 2-1. Tyler Bozak scored the other goal in the game for the Blues who will continue their four game road trip as they will be at Edmonton tonight to face the Oilers starting at 7:00 with the pre-game show on KSMO.

Mike Schildt of the St. Louis Cardinals is a finalist for the National League Manager of the Year Award. The other two candidates are Atlanta’s Brian Snitker and Milwaukee’s Craig Counsell. The winner will be announced next Tuesday.
