Tanja Stewart scored 24 points as the Waynesville Tigers beat the Salem Tigers in the first round of the FNCB Bank-It Championship in Sullivan. Carter Chilton led the Salem Tigers with 15 points followed by Jordan Shults with 12. Salem is now 0-2 on the year and they will face the Potosi Trojans tonight in the loser’s bracket semi-final game at 7:30. The game will be on ksmoradio.com ONLY. KSMO will replay the game in its entirety starting at about 9:30 on a delayed basis after Blues hockey.

Quinton Rose scored 18 points to lead Temple to a 79-77 victory over Missouri. The Tigers fall to 3-3 on the season. The Missouri Basketball Tigers will be off until Sunday afternoon when they face the University of Central Florida.
