Rostin Stockard’s three-pointer with 2.5 seconds left in overtime gave the Licking Wildcats a 72-69 win over the Salem Tigers in the Cat Classic Tuesday night at the SHS Gym. Stockard finished with 31 points on the night for the Wildcats who won the Cat Classic in overtime for the second straight year. Salem was led by Braiden Gapsch with 27 points and Lincoln Thomas added 21 more. The Varsity Tigers fall to 0-2 and will be off until Friday, December 6th when they host Owensville. The Wildcats will begin play in the Frisco League Tournament beginning Saturday.
The Licking Lady Wildcats dominated the first half en route to 33-6 first half lead, then held on to beat the Salem Lady Tigers by the score of 52-22 to win the Lady Cat Classic Tuesday night at the SHS Gym. Allie Hock netted 24 points while Keely Gorman added 15 more points off the bench for the Lady Wildcats. Licking moved to 2-0 on the year and will begin play in the Frisco League Tournament beginning Saturday. Salem is 0-1 on the season and they will be off until December 10th when they travel to Bourbon.
The Salem Lady JV Tigers lost to Licking Tuesday night in their season opener while the JV Boys Basketball Tigers won, 39-22 to go to 2-0 on the year.
The St. Louis Blues will be in New Jersey tonight to face the Devils starting at 5:30 on KSMO. After Thanksgiving, the Blues will be home Saturday to host the Philadelphia Flyers starting at 6:00. That game can be heard on KSMO after Missouri Tiger Football.
The Missouri Football Tigers will host Arkansas Saturday starting at 2:30 on KSMO in their final regular season game. Missouri is 8-3 on the year.
The Missouri Basketball Tigers will host Lindenwood College tonight starting at 5:00. Missouri is 6-1 on the year. The game will NOT be heard on KSMO due to Blues Hockey.
