A total of five Salem football players have been named to the All-SCA Teams. Two players were named to the All-SCA Second Team, and they were Rueben Hovey as a linebacker and Jamal Metcalf as a punter. Named to the All-SCA Honorable Mention Team were tight end Caleb Ingram, defensive lineman Owen Hamilton and defensive back Josh Owen. Congratulations Tigers!

Austin James scored 25 points to lead the Licking Wildcats back from an early deficit to beat Salem Tuesday, 68-57 in the Cat Classic. Gunnar Konkel had 25 points for Salem who fall to 1-1 on the year. In the girls’ varsity game, Hannah Medlock scored 24 points while Abbie Sullins netted her 1,000th career point on a free throw as Licking beat Salem, 60-41. Ashton Bowers scored 23 points to lead Salem who drop to 0-2 on the year. The Lady Tigers host South Iron Monday and the boys will host Lebanon on Tuesday.

The Blues will be in Buffalo night at 6:00 with the pregame show on KSMO Radio at 5:30. The Blues Friday will be at Tampa Bay to face the Lightning at 6:00 and in Miami to face the Florida Panthers Saturday at 4:30.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers play Coastal Carolina tonight in Columbia. Missouri is 5-0 going into the game. It will NOT be heard on KSMO due to Blues hockey.

The Missouri Football Tigers host Arkansas Friday at Faurot Field. Missouri must win the game to be bowl eligible this year. They enter the game with a 5-6 record. You can hear the game on KSMO Friday at 2:30.
