Andrew Bruner pitched a four hit shutout and the Union Wildcats speed generated three runs en route to a 3-0 win over Salem Tuesday. Garrett Connell had two hits for Salem who will be at Thayer today, weather permitting, for a makeup game starting at 3:30. The Salem Tiger Tennis team lost to the School of the Osage Monday, 3 matches to 5 in the first round of districts. The team season has ended, but the individual tournament will be held on Saturday at Jeff City-Helias.

The 2019 Salem Tiger Boys Basketball Camp to work on the fundamentals of basketball will be held May 20th, 21st and 22nd at the Salem High School Gym. The Grades 9-12 camp will be from 5:30 to 7:30 in the evening, while the camp for those in grades 5-8 will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 PM . The cost of the camp is $30 per person and if you want to be guaranteed a camp T-shirt, you need to e-mail Coach Carty at bryan.carty@salemr80.org with your shirt size by Wednesday, May 15th. Forms and money will be collected he first day of camp.

Philadelphia scored six unearned runs in the 2nd inning including a grand slam by Bryce Harper as they pounded the Cardinals Tuesday, 11-1. The Cardinals and Phillies play this afternoon starting at 11:20 on KSMO Radio.
