Rusty Buckner blasted a three-run homer in the 1st inning and then hit a grand slam in the 3rd inning to lead the Licking Wildcats to a 13-3 win over the Salem Tigers Tuesday at Deer Lick Park in Licking. Silas Antle and Keyton Cook each hit a two-run homer in the game for the Wildcats who improve to 5-0 on the season. Kaiden DuBois had a two-run double for Salem as they fall to 2-4 on the year. Salem is scheduled to play Potosi Thursday afternoon at 4:30 at the SHS Baseball Field Complex. The game can be heard on KSMO Radio 1340 AM or 95.7 FM can be watched on the KSMO Media.

The Salem Tiger Tennis Team home opener against Houston Tuesday was postponed and will be made up at a later date as Houston did not have enough players available for the meet. They will host Potosi this afternoon at 4:30 at the Salem City Park, weather permitting.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers, who are 3-0 on the year, will play at Cabool on Thursday, weather permitting starting at 4:30. The Lady Tigers are then scheduled to play Steelville Friday at 4:30 at the Salem City Park.

The Salem Golf Team will be at the Mountain Grove Open this Thursday at 4:00.

The St. Louis Blues will play the Vancouver Canucks tonight at 8:30. The game can be heard on KSMO Radio 1340 AM or 95.7 FM.

The St. Louis Cardinals had Tuesday off and will play the Washington Nationals today at 12:05. The Cardinals are 5-4 during Spring Training.

Due to the lockout and the late start of the season, the St. Louis Cardinals pocket schedules may not be available till mid to late April. We will keep you posted on their availability.

The Kanas City Royals continue to roll in Spring Training games as they beat the Seattle Mariners Tuesday, 11-4 improving their spring training record to 7-3. They will play the San Francisco Giants tomorrow.
