Keyton Cook’s sacrifice fly brought in the only run of the game in the 8th inning as the Licking Wildcats outlasted the Salem Tigers Tuesday, 1-0. Keller Davis of Licking went six innings and struck out 12 giving up just two hits while Malachi Antle, Cole Wallace and Silas Antle each had two hits for the Wildcats. Bronson Crocker of Salem also went six innings and gave up six hits and no runs. Salem is 2-4 on the year and they will be at Potosi Thursday at 4:30 to play the Trojans.

After tying with the Texas Rangers Monday night, 4-4, the Kansas City Royals dropped a 5-3 decision to the Rangers in their final preseason game Tuesday. The Royals finished spring training with a 19-13 record.

Jakub Vrana scored twice with the second goal the overtime winner as the St. Louis Blues beat the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday, 6-5. The Blues will be at Chicago Thursday night starting at 7:00 on KSMO Radio.
