The City of Salem Youth Baseball-Softball and T-Ball signups are going on right now at the Salem Community Center@The Armory. These leagues are open to all children 14 years of age and under. Registration will be held through April 12th for $25 per child. The league will start the last week of May and wrap up before July 4th. There will also be another opening day festivity like there was last year on May 23rd. For more information, call the Salem Parks and Recreation Department at 729-6290.

The Salem Baseball Tigers lost to Van Buren Tuesday by a final score of 4 to 3. Salem had 10 hits, while Van Buren had 7 hits. Both teams had two errors. Salem will play Ava Thursday night at 6:30 at Cabool.

The Salem Varsity Track Tigers will hold their first open track meet Thursday starting at 4:00 at the SHS Track.

The St. Louis Cardinals had Tuesday off and will play Miami this afternoon.

The Kansas City Royals will take on the Colorado Rockies tonight.

Jaden Schwartz had three goals and an assist, David Perron added two goals and two assists, and the St. Louis Blues routed the Edmonton Oilers 7-2 on Tuesday night. The Blues will face Detroit tomorrow night at 6:30 on KSMO.
