Registration for the City of Salem Youth Flag Football Program for First through Sixth Graders will be starting August 1st and continuing through August 24th. There is a $25.00 registration fee per child during regular registration. Late registration will be open August 25th through 31st with an additional late fee of $10.00. Games will be played every Saturday starting September 29th and continuing through October 20th. Sign up at the Salem Community Center @ The Armory during regular business hours. The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds 4 to 2 at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cardinals wrap up their series with the Reds this morning at 10:40 on KSMO.

The Kansas City Royals beat the Detroit Tigers 5 to 4 at Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Royals and Tigers will play this afternoon at 1:15 at Kaufmann Stadium.
