In their first of a three game series the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves faced off at Truist Park last night. While the Braves were able to get on the board first, a Nelson Velázquez and Nathan Church home run in the fourth gave the Red Birds a lead they held for the remainder of the game, defeating the Braves 5-3. Game two is live tonight on KSMO Radio 1340 AM & 95.7 FM with pregame coverage at 5:20 and first pitch to follow at 6:15.
