The Steelville Cardinals had four players in double figures and beat the Salem Tigers Tuesday night, 72-53. Trent Bass scored 16 points to lead the Cardinals while Jordan Shults netted 15 for the Salem Tigers. Salem falls to 5-11 with the loss. The boys’ next game will be at Licking for the Cat Classic Friday night starting with the JV game at 6:00 followed by the varsity contest at about 7:15. You can hear the varsity game on KSMO Radio.

The Salem Lady Tigers dropped a 67-44 decision to the West Plains Lady Zizzers Monday night at West Plains. Salem was led in scoring by Taylor Norris with 18 points. The Lady Tigers fall to 10-9 on the season and they will be off until next Monday night when they host Mountain Grove starting at 6:00 with the JV contest followed by the varsity game.

The City of Salem Youth Soccer League will begin April 1st at Al Brown Park at the multipurpose field for boys and girls ages 14 and under. Registration is going on now until February 8th at the Salem Community Center at the Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road. The cost is $25 per child. The Missouri Tigers will play at Arkansas tonight starting at 7:30 on KSMO Radio. Missouri enters the game with a 10-6 record and they are 1-3 in the SEC Conference.

The St. Louis Blues will face the Anaheim Ducks tonight at 9:00 in their final game before the All-Star Break. The game will be joined in progress a right after Missouri Basketball.
