The Salem Basketball Tigers had four players with double figures led by Tre Richter with 15 points as they beat St. James Tuesday, 72-54. Kaiden Gately scored 13 points followed by Haiden Sanders and Braiden Gapsch who each netted 12 points. Tate Gruver for St. James scored 20 points in the loss. Salem will play Blair Oaks Thursday night at 5:30 at St. James in the district semi-final. The game will be heard on KSMO at 5:15 and audio streamed on KSMO Media. The St. Louis Blues lost their second straight road game falling to Winnipeg Tuesday, 4-2. Pavel Buchnevich and Brendon Saad scored for the Blues who will be in Edmonton tonight with the game stating at 7:30. KSMO will join the game after Missouri Tigers Basketball.

The St. Louis Cardinals tied the game with Boston Tuesday on a bases loaded walk as the teams played to a 3-3 nine inning tie. St. Louis is 2-1-2 for the spring. The Cards play the New York Mets today.

The St. Louis Cardinals announced that they have signed free-agent shortstop and lifetime San Francisco Giants star Brandon Crawford to a one-year contract for 2024.

The Kansas City Royals played two games Tuesday. They beat the Colorado Rockies, 4-3, but lost to the San Diego Padres, 6-3. They will play Seattle today. The Royals are 4-2 going into the game today.

The Missouri Tigers will play today at Florida starting at 5:00 on KSMO Radio. Missouri has lost 14 games in a row and stand at 8-19 overall and 0-14 in the SEC Conference.
