The Rolla Bulldogs dominated the Salem Tigers in jumping out to a 23-0 lead after the 1st quarter and extended the lead to 46-9 at halftime en rote to a 72-34 win in the District semi-final game at the Rolla High School Gym. Rolla was led in scoring by Alec Buhr who scored 13 points followed by Davie Pound with 11 and Coby Martin with 10. Nate Bray led all Salem scorers with seven points. The Tigers finished with an overall 8-19 record.

Signups for the Co-Ed Church Softball League are going on now at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road through March 23rd. The cost for each team will be $250 and games will be played at the Al Brown Fields starting on Monday, April 2nd. Each team is required to have a minimum of three men or women players on the field at one time. Jontay Porter scored 24 points and seven rebounds, and Jordan Barnett added 17 more points as the Missouri Tigers defeated Vanderbilt Tuesday night by the score of 74-66 to improve to 19-11 on the year and 9-8 in the SEC Conference. The win ended a three game Missouri losing streak. The Tigers will host Arkansas Saturday afternoon at 4:30 on KSMO.

Eric Staal had three goals and two assists to combine with linemates Mikael Granlund and Jason Zucker for 14 points to propel the surging Minnesota Wild to an 8-3 victory on Tuesday over the St. Louis Blues. The Blues will be at Dallas Saturday afternoon at 12:30 and you can hear the game on KSMO Radio.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat Boston Tuesday afternoon, 6-1 to improve to 2-3 in Spring Training. The Cardinals will play Baltimore this afternoon.

The Kansas City Royals outlasted Seattle in wild one in Arizona, 14-9 on Tuesday afternoon. The Royals will face Cincinnati this afternoon. The Royals are 3-0-1 during spring training.
