Gunnar Konkel scored 15 points to lead the Salem Boys Basketball Tigers to a 40-24 win over St. Clair Tuesday night. Salem improved to 3-21 on the year and finished 0-6 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Tigers and Lady Tigers Basketball make-up games at Houston scheduled today have been cancelled and will not be made up due to Houston closing school on Wednesday.

The Salem Lady Softball Tigers this fall under Coach Phillip Karr scored the highest GPA of any Class 3 softball team in the state with a team GPA of 3.92. The team had nine girls named as Academic All-State players. The girls were Denise Stoner, Bella Jadwin, Andrea Bray, Kennedy Chapman, Micah Bobbitt, Brooke Mahurin, Kristen Howell, Ashton Bowers, and Savannah Manthey! Congratulations ladies!!!

The St. Louis Blues beat the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night, 4-1 to wrap up their four-game road trip 3-0-1. Vladimir Tarasenko, Ivan Barbashev, Brayden Schenn and Brandon Saad all scored for the Blues who play Buffalo Friday.

The Missouri Tigers lost to Tennessee Tuesday night by the score of 80-61 to fall to 10-18 on the year and 4-11 in the SEC Conference. They will play Saturday night at 7:00 against LSU on KSMO Radio.
