The Mizzou Basketball Tigers played the California Golden Bears last night, both teams entering the court with a 6-1 record. After the first half the Tigers found themselves trailing by 16. Then the second-half Tigers outscored the Golden Bears 63-42, and claimed the win by a final score of 98-93. The Mizzou Tigers play the first ranked Kansas Jayhawks this Sunday at noon. The Blues played the Winnipeg Jets last night and it was all defense early on until Jordan Kyrou scored with two minutes left in the second, followed up by a Dylan Holloway’s goal just 38 seconds later to give the Blues a 2-0 advantage. After three the Blues tacked two additional goals and defeated the Jets, 4-1. The Blues head to Calgary to play the Flames tomorrow.
