The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers battled back from a seven point halftime deficit and took Farmington to the buzzer with a chance to tie or win the game with no time remaining, but Lucas Morrison’s free throw went off the rim and the Knights held on to win, 52-51. Morrison led the Tigers with 16 points followed Carter Chilton with 11 points. Salem will play St. Clair tonight at 7:00 at Sullivan in the consolation bracket of the FCNB Bank It Tournament on KSMO and online at ksmoradio.com. The pre-game show with Coach Bryan Carty starts at 6:45 with Tiger Talk. Salem enters the game with a 1-1 record.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers dropped 68-60 decision to Charleston Southern for their third straight loss. Jeremiah Tilmon led all Missouri scorers with 18 points. Missouri is now 4-4 on the year. Missouri will play Temple Saturday night.

The St. Louis Blues, who have won their last four straight games, will be in Pittsburgh tonight to face the Penguins with game delayed due to Salem basketball starting at 8:30 on KSMO.
