Athletic Director Phillip Karr has informed Your World Today that he has found a replacement game for the Viburnum matchup that was scratch off the Lady Tiger Basketball schedule earlier this year due to the lack of players on the Viburnum team. The Salem Lady Tigers will now play the Belle Lady Tigers at 5:00 in the evening at the Salem High School Gym on February 4th. The JV and Varsity Boys will be playing Houston that night as well making the event a triple header! If you can’t make it to the game KSMO will broadcast both boys and girls varsity matchups on KSMO radio and KSMO streaming platforms.

The Mizzou Basketball Tigers played the Jacksonville State Gamecocks yesterday and continued their winning ways. The Tigers handed the Gamecocks their fifth loss on the season by a score of 83-72. Mizzou is now 10-1 on the season and look to play the Illinois Fighting Illini this Sunday at noon. Illinois recently played number one ranked Tennessee and although they lost the contest it was only by two points. You can listen to Sunday’s game live on KSMO 1340 AM and 95.7 FM with pregame at 11:30 in the morning, tipoff to follow at noon.

The St. Louis Blues hosted the New Jersey Devils last night. It was all Devils this time around as they would put points on the board in each of the three periods. Jordan Kyrou would score the lone goal for the Blues as they fell by a score of 4-1. Next on the schedule for St. Louis is the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night at 6:00. You can listen to this game live on KSMO radio.
