All the Salem Boys Basketball Tigers games with the Rolla Bulldogs Tuesday were postponed due to the bad travel conditions. The Freshman, JV and varsity game have been rescheduled for Thursday starting at 5:30 with the Freshman game in the Rolla High School practice Gym with the JV game in the main High School Gym. The varsity game will follow the JV game in the main gym Thursday night. The 7th and 8th grade games have been rescheduled for Thursday, January 9th.

The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers and the Lady Knights of St. Francis Borgia will battle tonight at 7:00 in Sullivan at the Peoples Bank Classic. Salem enters the tournament with a 4-1 record.

The Healthy Dent County Fitness Center will hold a Fitness Bootcamp through the month of January. The class will include cardio, strength, agility, & flexibility training. Modifications will be demonstrated for all fitness levels. The class will be Saturday mornings in January starting at 10:00 at the Salem Community Center @ the Armory. The St. Louis Blues who will host the Edmonton Oilers tonight with the game at 7:30 at the Enterprise Center, starting at 7:00 on KSMO.

The St. Louis Cardinals signed left-hander Kwang-Hyun Kim, who pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization. Last year, Kim went 17-6 with a 2.51 ERA and 180 strikeouts over 190 1/3 innings in 31 games.
