On Tuesday, Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber made it official: St. Louis will be the next addition to the growing professional soccer league. The expansion team is expected to start play in 2022 as the 28th soccer franchise in Major League Soccer. The ownership group will have to have their $200 million-plus stadium planned for Market Street west of Union Station built before the 2022 season. The ownership group is made up of the Taylor family behind St. Louis-based car rental giant Enterprise Holdings and World Wide Technology CEO Jim Kavanaugh

Dexter Fowler’s bloop double drove in three runs in the 6th inning and put the St. Louis Cardinals on top to stay as they went on to beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-4. Fowler finished the game with four RBI in the game. Marcell Ozuna had three hits in the game for the Cards who go for the sweep tonight against the Brewers starting at 5:50 on KSMO.

Hanser Alberto slugged a 8th inning two out, three-run homer to propel the Baltimore Orioles to a 4-1 win over the Kansas City Royals Tuesday night. The Royals and Orioles play the rubber game of the series tonight.
