Reagan Dubois completed hitting for the cycle with a 5th-inning walk off three-run homer as the Salem Lady Softball Tigers beat the Dixon Lady Bulldogs Tuesday, 20-9. Dubois finished the day with eight RBI with a two-run double, two-run triple, RBI single and the three-run homer. Taylor Fulton and Alexis White had three hits for Salem who improve to 6-4 on the year. They will host Cabool Thursday at 4:30 at the Salem City Park.

Kash Howard went 4-5 with four RBI and Sylis Dubois went 2-3 with four RBI as the Salem Baseball Tigers blasted St. James in six-innings Tuesday, 15-5 that featured a 12-run 5th inning for Salem. Roy Stevens hit his second homer of the year and finished 3 for 4 as Salem finished with 15 hits. Bryar Bobbitt went the distance giving up five runs on five hits to get the win. Salem improves to 5-2-1 on the year and they will host Houston Thursday afternoon at the SHS Baseball Field Complex. Salem is 1-0 in the SCA Conference.

The Salem Tennis Team will host the Salem Invitational today at the Salem City Park.

The Salem JV Track team will be at the Poplar Bluff JV meet today starting at 2:30.

Victor Scott II tripled in two runs and also doubled as the St. Louis Cardinals roughed up Pittsburgh ace Paul Skenes for a career-high five earned runs and six hits on Tuesday in a 5-3 Red Bird victory over the Pirates at PNC Park. Brendon Donovan had two hits and an RBI for the Cardinals who stopped their four-game losing streak. Sonny Gray got the win to go to 2-0 on the year. The Cards and Pirates play the rubber game this morning on KSMO starting at 10:40 with the pre-game show.

The Kansas City Royals played their second of four games versus the Minnesota Twins last night and in a close one the Royals defeated the Twins 2-1. Game three is tonight at 6:40.
