Emma Thiltgen hit a grand slam and finished the game 3-4 with five RBI as Dixon beat the Salem Lady Tigers Tuesday, 15-1. Dixon banged out 17 hits in the win and improved to 6-0 on the year while Salem falls to 1-3. The Lady Tigers will be at Willow Springs Thursday at 4:30 for an SCA Conference game.

The Salem Baseball Tigers lost their fourth game in a row as they fell Tuesday to the St. James Tigers, 5-3 at the SHS Baseball Field Complex. Salem falls to 2-7 overall and they will host the Cabool Bulldogs in an SCA Conference game Thursday afternoon at 4:30. KSMO Media and Radio will broadcast the game starting with Tiger Talk and Coach Edwards around 4:15.

The Salem Tennis Tigers lost to Waynesville Monday, three matches to six and are now 3-2 on the year. The Salem Invitational will be held today at the Salem City Park.

Austin Riley’s two-run homer in the 1st inning and Orlando Arcia’s solo blast helped lead the Atlanta Braves to a 4-1 win over the Cardinals. Willson Contreras had the only RBI for the Red Birds who will play the Braves today at 12:15 starting with the pre-game show on KSMO at 11:20.

Matt Chapman went 3-4 and Daulton Varsho went 2-4 plus each drove in a run as Toronto beat Kansas City Tuesday, 4-1. Franmil Reyes hit a homer for the Royals only run. The Royals and Blue Jays continue their four-game series this evening at Kaufmann Stadium.

Jordan Binnington made 32 saves while Jordan Kyrou, Justin Faulk, Tyler Pitlick and Alexey Toropchenko all scored for St. Louis as the Blues beat Philadelphia Tuesday, 4-2. The Blues host the New York Rangers Thursday night at 7:00 at the Enterprise Center. You can hear the game on KSMO immediately after Salem Tiger Baseball.
