The Salem Baseball Tigers’ game with Owensville Tuesday was postponed due to wet grounds. That game will not be made up. Salem will attempt to play a makeup game today with Thayer this afternoon at 2:00 at the SHS Baseball Field Complex. If played, you can hear the game on KSMO Radio and online at ksmoradio.com.

The Salem Tiger Tennis team will participate in the SCA Tennis Meet at Willow Springs this morning at 10:00.

Jay Bruce homered in the top of the 10th inning to lead the New York Mets past the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-5 at Busch Stadium on Tuesday night. The Cardinals take on the Mets again tonight. You can hear the game starting at 6:20 or right after Salem Tiger baseball on KSMO Radio.

Lorenzo Cain homered while reaching base four times in his return to Kauffman Stadium, and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Kansas City Royals, 5-2 on Tuesday night to open their two-game set. The Royals and Brewers tangle again tonight in Kansas City.
