Madison Mercer went 4-4, including a two-run homer, and scored four runs as the Salem Lady Tigers beat the Potosi Lady Trojans Tuesday at the Salem City Park Field, 13-6. Shaylee Thomas had an inside-the-park two-run homer, Alexis White had three hits, and Raven Gillam had two hits and three RBI as the Lady Tigers improve to 4-2 on the year. Salem will open SCA Conference play Thursday against the Ava Lady Bears at the Salem City Park starting at 4:30.  

The Salem Baseball Tigers fell to the Licking Wildcats Tuesday night, 6-2 at Licking to fall to 2-4 on the year. Salem will take on the Potosi Trojans Thursday at the Salem High School Baseball Field Complex starting at 4:30.

The Salem Tennis Tigers will face the Potosi Trojans this afternoon at the Salem City Park starting at 4:00.

The Salem Golf Team will participate in the Southern Boone Tournament today.

The St. Louis Cardinals posted their first shutout of the season last night against the New York Mets. Ivan Herrera hit a two run double and Ramon Urias hit his first home run as a Cardinal for the 3-0 victory. This ties up the series at one, and the deciding game will be this afternoon on KSMO Radio. Pregame will start this morning at 11:20 with first pitch to follow at 12:15.

The St. Louis Blues are back on the ice tonight to face off against the Los Angeles Kings in the Crypto.com Arena. Live coverage will begin on KSMO Radio at 7:30 with puck drop to follow at 8:00.
