Baylor Petty went 2 for 3, drove in two runs and scored twice while Korben Barred singled in the eventual winning run and had two hits to help lead Salem to an 8-6 at St. Clair. The Tigers are now 5-7 on the year and they will participate in a double header in the Dora Tournament on Thursday facing Dora at 3:30 and Alton at about 5:30. Salem will then play a cross bracket game on Friday. KSMO Radio will not broadcast the tournament games.

The Salem Tigers Tennis Team will be at West Plains at their Invitational stating at 9:00.

The Salem Tigers Track Teams will be at the Ava Invitational starting at 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

Parents of children 14 years of age and under can still sign their children up for the City of Salem Youth Baseball, Softball and T-Ball Leagues for $35 per child. Signups are being held at the Salem Community Center@The Armory. The league will start the last week of May and wrap up before July 4th. All signups will end on April 26th. Christian Yelich hit a three-run homer and the Milwaukee Brewers beat St. Louis Tuesday, 8-4. The Cardinals and Brewers tangle in a matinee game today starting at 11:45 on KSMO Radio.

The Chicago White Sox beat the Kansas City Royals Tuesday night, 5-1. Lucas Duda’s homer was the only Royals run. The Royals and White Sox will play this afternoon.

Kyle Connor scored at 6:02 of overtime and the Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 to tie their best-of-seven Western Conference series at two games apiece. Vladimir Tarasenko scored and Jordan Binnington made 37 saves for the Blues. Game 5 will be at Winnipeg Thursday night and you can hear the game on KSMO starting at 7:00.
