The Salem Lady Tigers scored 10 runs in the 2nd inning and 13 more in the 3rd inning en route to a 23-5 pasting of the Licking Lady Wildcats. Salem was given 20 walks in addition to their eight hits. Taylor Fulton led Salem with a single and double as well as driving in six runs. Saylor Van Wyk had three hits for the Tigers who are now 2-5 on the year. On Monday, Salem lost to the Thayer Lady Bobcats, 6-2 and fall to 1-3 in the SCA Conference. They will be off until Monday when they host Mountain Grove.

The Salem Tigers Tennis Team beat Willow Springs Tuesday, six matches to three to improve to 4-3 on the year. They will be at Licking Thursday afternoon at 4:00.

The Salem Golf Team will be at the St. James Invitational this morning starting at 8:00.

The Salem Middle School Track Team will be at Cuba for a meet today starting at 3:30.

The Salem High School Track Team will be at Owensville Friday and NOT Thursday as indicated on the original sports schedule. The start time will be at 2:30.

Nolan Gorman’s 9th inning home run led the St. Louis Cardinals to a 9-6 comeback win over Colorado. The Cards and Rockies wrap up their series this afternoon at 2:10 today on KSMO with the pre-game show at 1:15.

The Kansas City Royals lost to the Texas Rangers Tuesday night in 10 innings, 8-5. The Royals and Rangers play again tonight.

KSMO will carry the St. Louis Blues final regular season home game tonight at 6:00 vs Dallas.
