The Salem Lady Varsity Volleyball Tigers won their 12th straight match with a three-game sweep over Bunker Monday night at the SHS gym: 25-19, 25-22 and 30-28. Salem is 14-4 on the season and they will host South Iron tonight at 5:30 with a JV match followed by the varsity contest. The matches will be video streamed on KSMO Media only.

Four straight walks in the 9th inning gave the Pittsburgh Pirates a 3-2 walk-off win Monday night over the St. Louis Cardinals. Albert Pujols hit a two-run homer in the game and passed Babe Ruth with the second most RBI in Major League Baseball. The two teams play today at 4:40 on KSMO Radio.

Drew Waters three-run homer in the top of the 10th inning gave Kansas City a 5-2 win over Cleveland Monday night. The two teams play again tonight in Cleveland.

The St. Louis Blues will play Minnesota tonight in preseason play. The Blues are 4-1 going into the game.
