Vladimir Tarasenko scored two goals and Ville Husso stopped 34 shots as the St. Louis Blues shutout the LA Kings Monday, 3-0 to start the season 5-0 for the first time in franchise history. David Perron scored the other Blues goal. You can hear the next game against Colorado Thursday on KSMO Radio starting at 6:30.

St. Louis Cardinals announced Oliver Marmol, would become the 51st manager in Cardinals history. Marmol, who is now the youngest manager in the majors at 35 years old, served as the Cardinals bench coach the past three seasons (2019-21), and was the team’s first base coach from 2017-18. Former manager Mike Shildt was dismissed on October 14 due to “philosophical differences” between he and the front office.
