The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will be holding a golf tournament fundraiser at the Spring Creek Golf Club on October 5th starting at 10:00 in the morning. It will be a four-person scramble that will include on-course games, mulligans, food and soft drinks. The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers fell to a senior laden St. Clair Lady Bulldog in three straight sets Monday night at the Salem High School Gym. The scores were 10-25, 18-25 and 16-25. Senior Emma Thompson led St. Clair with 15 kills unofficially and St. Clair also served a total of 14 aces in the match. Salem is now 5-12-2 on the year while St. Clair improves to 16-8-2 on the season. Salem will be at Willow Springs tonight starting with the varsity game starting around 7:00. The Varsity Lady Tigers are 2-1 in SCA Conference play. 

The Salem Volleyball Lady JV Tigers fell to St. Clair in two straight games by the identical scores of 16-25. The loss snapped their four-match winning streak outside tournaments. They play tonight at 5:30 at Willow Springs.

The Salem Freshman Lady Volleyball Tigers evened their record at 2-2 as they beat St. Clair in three sets, two games to one. They will next play at Licking on October 10th at 5:00.

The Kansas City Royals will begin their postseason run starting with this afternoon’s Wild Card matchup versus the Baltimore Orioles with the first pitch crossing the plate at 3:08.
