The Salem JV Football Tigers beat Mountain Grove Monday, 24-16. The JV is 5-2 on the year and their final game will be Monday when they travel to Mountain View to face the Eagles.

The Salem Lady Volleyball Tigers final home match will be tonight at 6:00 against the Ava Bears at the SHS gym. The JV will play first followed by the varsity match.

The Washington Nationals dominated the St. Louis Cardinals Monday scoring four runs off Jack Flaherty and beating the Cardinals, 8-1. They lead the NLCS, 3 games to none. Dakota Hudson will face Patrick Corbin in Game 4 with the pre-game show that can be heard on KSMO Radio beginning at 6:10

The St. Louis Blues couldn’t hold on to a 2-0 third period lead with less than six minutes left, then lost in overtime to the New York Islanders on Devon Toews goal at 1:13 of the extra period as the they rallied for a 3-2 win Monday at Nassau Coliseum. Brayden Schenn scored in his fifth consecutive game and Vladamir Tarasenko scored his first of the year for the Blues who will be back home Thursday night to play the Vancouver Canucks starting at 6:30 on KSMO Radio or right after Salem Lady Tiger Softball.
