Silas Wulff drove in the Korben Barred with the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning as the Salem Tigers beat the Houston Tigers, 4-3. Reese Dodson went 3-3 for Salem who improves to 9-9 on the year and 5-1 in the SCA. The Tigers will be at Union for their regular season finale tomorrow at 4:30 on KSMO Radio.

District Baseball returns to Salem this Friday and Saturday weather permitting as Salem will host the Class 4, District 10 Tournament. On Friday, The # seeded Osage Indians will face the 5th seeded Eldon Mustangs at 2:00. At about 4:30, the 3rd seeded Salem Tigers will host the 6th seeded Buffalo Bisons. On Saturday, the winner of the Osage/Eldon game will face the 1st seeded Marshfield Blue Jays at 11:30, and the winner of the Salem/Buffalo game will take on the 2nd seeded St. James Tigers at about 2:00. The District Championship game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th at 4:30. A $5.00 admission fee shall be charged for all persons age six and up.

Yadier Molina and Paul DeJong each hit two-run homers and Matt Carpenter hit a solo shot as the St. Louis Cardinals behind Miles Mykolas seven strong shutout innings beat Philadelphia, 6-0. The Cardinals will host the Phillies tonight starting right after Salem Tigers Baseball or at 5:50 on KSMO Radio.

Robisnon Chirinos two-run homer in the 6th inning put Houston ahead for good, leading them to a 6-4 win over Kansas City. The Royals got two run homers from Adalberto Mondesi and Hunter Dozier in the game. The Royals will take on the Houston Astros in the second of their three game series.

The St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars tangle in Game 7 back in St. Louis tonight. The series is tied at 3 games apiece and the game tonight will be at 6:30 on ksmoradio.com.
