In the state track meet held Friday and Saturday, Salem Lady Tiger Track Athlete Savannah Manthey took 4th Place in Javelin with a throw of 120.4 feet or 36.68 meters. She also took 12th in Pole Vault. Kaden Coffman took 6th place in the 100-meter race with a time of 11.17 seconds. Other Tigers who competed at state include Garrett Connell who finished 12th in the High Jump, Josh Owen who took 16th in Pole Vault and Nathan Pyle who came in 10th in the Shot Put. Congratulations Tigers!!!

The All-SCA Conference Teams were announced last Thursday, and five Salem Tigers and four Lady Tigers were named to the teams. For the boys, Garrett Connell was named All-SCA 1st team infielder, while Korben Barred was honored as an All-SCA 2nd team outfielder and Kaiden DuBois was named as an All-SCA 2nd team infielder Named to All-SCA Honorable Mention Bronson Teams were Bronson Crocker as a pitcher and Trethan Rictor as an infielder. For the Lady Tigers, Kayla Howard was named as the All-SCA 1st Team designated hitter, while Ashton Bowers made the All-SCA 2nd team as an infielder and Bella Jadwin was named to the All-SCA 2nd Team as an outfielder. Andrea Bray made the All-SCA Honorable Mention Team as an infielder. Way to go Tigers!!

The St. Louis Blues season ended Friday night when they lost to Colorado, 3-2 and lost the series, four games to two.

Paul Goldschmidt hit two-run homer to lead St. Louis Cardinals over San Diego Monday, 6-3. The two teams play tonight at 5:50 on KSMO.

Cleveland scored four runs in the 8th inning to break a 3-3 tie and went on to beat Kansas City Monday, 7-3. The two teams play again tonight.
