Four Salem Baseball Tigers were named to the
All-SCA Conference teams from the coaches meeting held last Thursday night. Named to the All-SCA First Team were senior Boone Schrader as a pitcher and junior Reese Dodson as an outfielder. One Tiger was named to the All-SCA Second Team and that was senior Jordan Shults as an outfielder. One Tiger was also named to the All-SCA Honorable Mention team and that was junior Silas Wulff as a catcher. Congratulations Tigers!

After a gut wrenching 4-3 loss to the Atlanta Braves Sunday night in which the Cards led, 3-0 going into the top of the 9th inning, the Red Birds have a 6-16 record in the month of May. The loss allowed the Braves to take two of three games from the Cards before having the day off on Memorial Day, the St. Louis Cardinals will be in Philadelphia tonight to face the Phillies. The game tonight will be starting at 5:10 on KSMO Radio.

At the bottom of the 5th The Royals and The White Sox were tied at 1. Due to rain forcing 2 lengthy delays the game was suspended and will resume today. The Royals will continue their series in Chicago tonight against the White Sox.

The Bruins beat the Blues 4-2 in Game 1. Brayden Schenn and Valdimir Taraasenko scored the two goals in Game 1. The Blues and Bruins will battle in Game 2 of their best-of–seven Stanley Cup Final series Wednesday night at 6:30 on ksmoradio.com.
