Lawson Toman went 3-4 and drove in two runs with a double in a seven-run 1st inning, plus pitched six two-hit innings as Salem beat St. James, 8-4 in St. James Monday. Noah Leathers also drove in two runs with a single in the 1st inning. Salem is 8-10 on the year. The Tigers will have a make-up game with Willow Springs Wednesday at 4:30 at the Salem High School Baseball Complex.

The Salem Tiger Tennis Team will host the School of the Osage today beginning at 4:30 in their final match of the year.

The Salem Middle School Track Teams will be at Willow Springs today for the SCA Track meet starting at 3:00.

The St. Louis Cardinals host the Chicago White Sox in a short two game series starting tonight at 6:20 on KSMO Radio.

Xander Bogaerts hit a grand slam over the Green Monster and the Boston Red Sox finished April with their most wins ever by beating the Kansas City Royals 10-6 on Monday night. The Royals’ will be at Boston again tonight.

The Kids Free Fishing Day will be this Saturday at Montauk State Park. Children who are 15 years of age and under can pick up their required free fishing tag at the registration booth near the fish cleaning station from 5:00-8:00 Friday night or all day on Saturday.
