The Salem Lady Tigers beat Ellington Monday, 29-0 in three innings. Salem improves to 3-0 with the win. The Lady Tigers will play at Cabool on Thursday.

The Owensville Dutchmen scored eight runs in the 3rd inning taking advantage of three Salem Tiger errors allowing them to overcome a 6-1 Salem lead and beat the Tigers, 10-7. Salem will travel to Licking today to face the Wildcats with the game starting at 4:45. The game can be heard on KSMO Radio 1340 AM or 95.7 FM can be watched on the KSMO Media. Salem enters the game with a 2-3 record.

The Salem Tiger Tennis Team will face Houston today at 4:00 in their home opener. The Salem Golf Team will host the Salem Open today at 4:00 at the Spring Creek Golf Club. The Salem Tiger Track Teams will be at St. Francis Borgia High School for the Borgia Open that starts today at 3:30.

Vladimir Tarasenko had two goals and an assist to reach the 500point mark in his career as St. Louis beat Vancouver, 4-1. The Blues and Canucks play again Wednesday night.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost to Houston Monday, 2-1. They will play the Washington Nationals today at 12:05. The Cardinals did announce they signed Albert Pujols to a one-year contract.

The Kanas City Royals beat Cleveland Monday, 19-9 banging out 19 hits. They play the Seattle Mariners today.
