The Salem Baseball Tigers scored eight runs in the 3rd inning led by a grand slam by Jordan Shults to overcome a 6-0 deficit en route to beating Cabool, 18-6 in five innings. Reese Dotson was 2-2 with three walks and scored three times for the Tigers who will be at Cabool to face the Van Buren at 4:00 this afternoon in the 2nd round of the Cabool Tournament.

The Salem Varsity Track Tigers will be at St. James today for the St. James Open and it will be their first meet of the year. The meet will begin at 3:00.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-1 Monday as Dakota Hudson struck out eight batters in five scoreless innings. The Red Birds will have today off.

The Kansas City Royals had Monday off and they will face the Chicago Cubs tonight in pre-season play.

The St. Louis Blues will host the Edmonton Oilers tonight starting at 6:30 on KSMO.
