The Arizona Diamondbacks took advantage of three St. Louis Cardinals errors and scored five 6th inning runs en route to a 9-2 win over the Red Birds on Sunday. The loss stopped a Cardinals four-game winning streak and salvaged the last game of the series for Arizona who had lost 13 straight going into the game. The Cards continue their long road trip as they will be on the West Coast and face the LA Dodgers through Wednesday night. You can hear the game tonight on KSMO at 8:15.

The Kansas City Royals rode a four-run 5th inning to a 6-3 win over Minnesota Sunday to take two of the three games in the series and climb to within one game of .500. Hunter Dozier and Andrew Benintendi each drove in two runs for Kansas City who are facing the Pittsburgh Pirates in a two-game series.
