Reese Dodson scored 23 points and the Salem Tigers beat the Osage Indians Monday night in Owensville, 66-56. Salem will face Steelville Friday night at 7:00 in the semi-final at Owensville. Salem is 5-4 on the season.

Four Lady Tigers scored in double figures as the Salem Lady Basketball Tigers started out their SCA season with a 59-53 win over the Lady Bears of Willow Springs Monday night. Ashton Bowers netted 17 points for Salem followed by Tatum Hatridge who scored 12 points. Savannah Manthey and Bella Jadwin each added 11 more for Salem in the win. Salem is 9-4 on the year. The Lady Tigers will be at St. Elizabeth Thursday night.

The City of Salem Park and Recreation Department is inviting all boys and girls in 1st through 5th grade to a Youth Football Camp to be held February 3rd, 4th and 6th with Coach Dylan Wyrick and Coach Andrew Wynn at the Salem Community Center@The Armory. This camp is a skills and drills non-padded camp. The cost of the camp is $25 and that includes a camp T-Shirt. You can register for the camp through this Friday at the Salem Community Center@The Armory.
