The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers game with Thayer Monday was postponed and rescheduled for next Tuesday, February 7th, as a boys/girls doubleheader at Thayer beginning at 6:00. Because of the rescheduling, there will be no JV games on February 7th. The Lady Tigers are scheduled to be home Thursday to face the Mountain View-Liberty Lady Eagles with the JV game at 6:00 followed by the varsity contest. It will be the “Pink Out” night. Salem enters the game with an 11-9 record on the season and 3-0 in the SCA Conference. Thursday night’s games will be on KSMO Media.
The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will face the Cabool Bulldogs tonight in SCA play at the SHS Gym for “Pink Out” night. Salem enters the game with a 1-0 SCA record and 5-13 on the year. The JV and varsity game will be broadcast on KSMO Video Media at 6:00 while the varsity game will also be broadcast on KSMO Radio. POSTPONED-WILL BE RESCHEDULED!
The Salem Boys JV Tigers game scheduled for Monday in the Licking Tournament has been rescheduled at the Licking High School Gym Wednesday night at 6:50 against Licking. The winner will pay Saturday morning at 10:30 at the high school gym while the loser will play in the consolation bracket at 9:00 Saturday morning at the high school gym.
Healthy Dent County Fitness Center is adding a second weekly yoga class to their schedule beginning February. We will be offering a “Gentle Yoga” class every Friday afternoon starting at 4:30. Their fabulous instructor, Jess Kiser, will guide you through each move and help you reach your full potential. Classes are held in the group exercise classroom, located near our East entrance inside Salem Community Center @ the Armory. These classes are included in membership. The St. Louis Blues took a 2-0 lead only to have Winnipeg score four unanswered goals in the 3rd period to beat St. Louis, 4-2. The Blues will be off 11 days for the All-Star Break.
