The Salem Boys Basketball Team beat Dora Friday afternoon, 70-59 to capture the Losers Bracket Final at the Cabool Holiday Tournament. Salem went 3-1 in the tournament and are now 7-5 on the year. They will host the Bunker Eagles tonight around 6:45. Bunker is coming off a 53-45 win over East Carter Friday. They are 5-5 on the year. The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers lost to Ava Friday in the Consolation Championship game at the Mountain Grove Holiday Tournament, 41-37. Salem is 3-10 on the year and will play the Bunker Lady Eagles tonight starting just after 5:30. The Lady Eagles are coming off a heartbreaking 66-60 overtime loss to East Carter Friday night. The Missouri Football Tigers scored 14 fourth quarter points to come back and beat Ohio State Friday night to capture the Cotton Bowl, 14-3. Cody Schrader ran the ball 29 times for 128 yards and a touchdown. Missouri finished the year with an 11-2 record.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers smothered Central Arkansas Saturday, 92-59 with Tamar Bates scoring 25 points followed by Sean East II with 16 more. Missouri stopped their three-game losing streak and are 8-5 on the year. They will play Georgia Saturday in their first SEC Conference game of the year at noon.

The Kansas City Chiefs defense stood tall and Harrison Butker kicked six field goals to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their eighth straight AFC West Division Crown with a 25-17 win over Cincinnati Sunday. The Chiefs will play the LA Chargers in their regular season finale.

The St. Louis Blues dropped a 2-1 decision to Colorado Friday night, then fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday night, 4-2. The Blues will be off until Thursday night when they play the Vancouver Canucks.
