The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will travel to Thayer tonight to face the Bobcats. Salem enters the game with a 5-12 record and this will be their first SCA game of the year. Taylor Norris had 25 points to lead the Salem Lady basketball Tigers past the Mountain Grove Lady Panthers in SCA play Monday night, 56-45. Also in the game, Norris scored her 1,000 career point early in the 3rd quarter. The Lady Tigers led at halftime by 22, but struggled shooting in the 2nd half but held on for the win. Salem is now 11-9 on the year and 2-2 in the SCA. They will be at Ava Thursday night for another SCA contest.

The City of Salem Youth Soccer League will begin April 1st at Al Brown Park at the multipurpose field for boys and girls ages 14 and under. Registration is going on now until February 8th at the Salem Community Center at the Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road. The cost is $25 per child.
