The Salem Lady Basketball Tigers took the first seed School of the Osage Lady Indians to the brink Monday night at the Rolla High School Gym, before falling by the final score of 58-50. Salem was led by Michaela Chilton who sunk 5 of 7 from the 3-point range and finished with 22 points. Baylee Bilyeu in her final game as a Lady Tiger, scored 17 points. Salem finished with a 12-14 record on the year. Great Job Ladies!!

The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers will face the Rolla Bulldogs this afternoon 5:00 at the Rolla High School gym in the district semi-final game. You can hear that game on KSMO and online at ksmoradio.com. That game will be aired live on Fidelity Local 6 and Fidelity Local HD 406.

The Missouri Basketball Tigers will be at Vanderbilt tonight with the game starting at 6:00. KSMO Radio will join the game in progress after Salem Tigers basketball. Missouri has lost three straight games and is now 18-11 on the year and 8-8 in the SEC Conference.

The St. Louis Blues have acquired a conditional 1st round pick in 2018, a conditional 4th round pick in 2020 and forward Erik Foley from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Paul Stastny.

The St. Louis Blues are mired in a six-game losing streak and they will be Minnesota tonight to face the Wild. That game broadcast will be delayed and can be heard on KSMO at 8:30.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost to the Minnesota Monday, 5-4 to fall to 1-3 in Spring Training. The Cardinals will play Boston this afternoon.

The Kansas City Royals blasted the San Francisco Giants Monday afternoon, 10-4. The Royals will take on Seattle in the desert. The Royals are now 2-0-1 during spring training.

LATE registration is going on this week through Friday for the City of Salem Youth Soccer League. You can signup your children aged 14 and under now for $35 per child. Signups continue to be held at the Salem Community Center@The Armory at 1200 West Rolla Road during normal business hours from 8:00 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon.
