The Salem Lady Basketball fell to the Ava Lady Bears in their final home game of the regular season, 46 to 34. Salem was led by Savannah Manthey with 11 points. The Lady Tigers are now 12-12 and 2-4 in the SCA Conference, and they will play at Houston Thursday at 6:00. This will be a varsity match only.

The Salem Varsity Boys Basketball Tigers beat the Viburnum Blue Jays at Viburnum by the score of 66 to 35. With the win, the Tigers improve to 1 and 19 on the year. The boys next game will be Wednesday at Sullivan starting with the JV at 5:30. The games will be video streamed on KSMO Media and the varsity game heard on KSMO Radio.

The St. Louis Blues play the Ottawa Senators tonight at 5:30. The Blues can be heard on KSMO Radio 1340AM.

Missouri will play Arkansas Razorbacks tonight. Missouri is 10-14 on the year. The game will not be heard due to KSMO airing Blues Hockey.

The City of Salem Spring Soccer Late Registration is going on today through February 21st and the cost of signing up your child will now be 35 dollars. Signups can be at the Salem Community Center@The Armory or online. The program is for boys and girls ages 14 years old and under. You can register online by going to the Salem Park and Recreation Department Facebook page and clicking on the link provided. Congratulations to these young ladies who were named to the Academic All-State volleyball team from Salem. They include Avery Erway, Jaden Flores, Skylar Klapperich, Cayleigh Moody, Shelby Pogue, Makayla Roos, Kylee Shalbot, and Malerie Workman. Also named to the Academic All-State volleyball team from the Licking High School were Kiley Ingram, Hannah Medlock, Winter Murray, Maci Sparks, Abbie Sullins, Kylie Taylor and Linzie Wallace. From the Steelville High School, seven girls were named to the Academic All-State volleyball team. They include Lauren Davis, Courtney Diaz, Emma Kreitner, Tobi Pennock, Naomi Perkins, Daylan Pryor and Haylee Woodall. Congratulations to all these ladies!!
