The Salem Boys Basketball Tigers are seeded 5th in the Owensville Tournament that will begin on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019. The Tigers will be facing the St. Clair Bulldogs on Wednesday, January 2nd at 6:00 in the first round. If Salem wins, they would play Friday at 5:30, and if they lose, they would play Thursday at 5:30. That game can be heard on KSMO Radio. Salem enters the tournament with a 2-6 record.

The St. Louis Blues will be in Edmonton tonight to start a three game western Canadian swing. The game gets underway at 7:30 on KSMO Radio.

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced the Blues have signed defenseman Robert Bortuzzo to a three-year contract extension worth $1.375 million per year. The 29-year old Bortuzzo is currently in his fifth season with the Blues. He was originally acquired by the club via trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 2nd, 2015.
