The Salem Lady Tigers opened the season with a tough loss to Winona losing in three straight games: 23-25,22-25 and 15-25. The Lady Tigers open their home season tonight against St. James starting with a 9th grade match at 4:45, then the JV contest and with the varsity match last. All matches can be seen on KSMO Streaming Media and the varsity match will include play-by-play.

Tyler O’Neill hit two home runs and the St. Louis Cardinals finished blasted Cincinnati, 13-4. Albert Pujols and Corey Dickerson also homered as St. Louis will face the Cincinnati Reds at 4:45 today on KSMO.

The Kansas City Royals begin a three-game series with the Chicago White Sox Tonight.
